The Minister of Industry and Trade, Moussa Alassane Diallo, has been visiting the country’s industrial plants since April. These visits took him, on May 13, to the Malian pharmaceutical products factory – UMPP. During this stage, the Minister spoke in particular about the “relaunch” of the company, which he described as “a crucial step towards pharmaceutical sovereignty”.
Minister Diallo’s visit is part of ”
the firm commitment of the highest authorities and the Malian people, notably through the recommendations of the Assises Nationales de la Refondation (ANR ), to revive this once proud but faltering institution.
